ROSEVILLE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION <br />Meeting Minates <br />February 26, 1998 <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:1 ppm. <br />Members Present: Joe Olson, Bob King, and Jack Weidenbach <br />Members Absent: None <br />Others Present: Paul Wood, Police Chief; Tom Alleva, Depuiy Police Chief; <br />Karen Kurt, Human Resources Director and Carolyn Ganz, <br />Administrative Analyst. <br />New Business <br />The Committee reviewed the minutes from the January meeting <br />Motion: Olson mo�ed to accept the minutes. King seconded the motion. Motion <br />passed unanimously <br />Written testing for the police applicants was conducted on February 14, 1998. <br />Ninety-three applican#s participated. City staff recommended a passing score of <br />65 or abo�e. This score would enable 55 candidates to participate to the next <br />steps of the selection process. <br />Motion: Olson moved to accept 65 or abo�e as a passing score on the written <br />exam. King seconded. Motion passed unanimously. <br />REMINDER: Next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, at 5:OOpm. <br />Adjournment <br />Motion: Olson movecf to adjourn the meet�ng at 5:20.
