STEP ONE. WRITTEN EXAMINATZON <br />Civil Service Commission meets to approve testing process, set date for written exam <br />and establish weighting for each testing element. <br />2. Create or purchase validated test. <br />Determine time and place and select proctors for thc written examination. <br />4. Advertize in newspapers and mail notice of testing to attached list; a�nlicants must <br />s�mit completed City Job A�lication to test. <br />Candidates stop in or call job linc to request Application Packet; packei must be returned <br />by deadline in order to take written exam. <br />6. Applicants must bring photo ID to sit for test (to be checkcd by proctors); test is given. <br />7. Vendor scores test and returns resulis to PD <br />S. Civil Se.rvice Commission meets to deicrmine minirnum passing score, based upon the <br />number of positions to be filled and natural brealc points in scores. <br />7.
