I have helped tutor my neighbor's niece in math and have done some babysitting. <br />Education:: I am a junior at Roseville Area High School. <br />Civic and Volunteer Activities (Past and Present):: I volunteer at my church singing to raise money for Habitat for <br />Humanity. <br />Please state your reasons for wanting to serve on the Commission/Board:: I want to serve on the Human Rights <br />Commission because I think it will be an educational experience and also because I strongly agree with what the <br />Commission stands for. I hope to go into politics/political activism as a career and i feel that this would be a great way to <br />start exploring that world. <br />What is your view of the role of this Commission/ Board?: My view of the Human Rights Commission is that they are <br />responsible for making sure that peoples' basic rights are not infringed. It is their job to alert the public when this <br />happens and also to lobby for human rights. <br />
