Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called to order the Roseville City Council regular meeting at approximately <br /> 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. (Voting and Seating Order: Johnson; Willmus; <br /> McGehee; Pust; and Roe). City Attorney Mark Gaughan was also present. <br /> 2. Approve Agenda <br /> Mayor Roe noted that staff removed Item 12.f entitled, "Community Development De- <br /> partment Request to Perform Abatement for Unresolved Violations of City Code at <br /> 1991 Eldridge Avenue; as the issue had been successfully resolved. <br /> City Manager Malinen advised that staff requested deferral of Item 7.e entitled "Award <br /> Contract for Engineering Services for the Construction of Twin lakes Second Addition <br /> Public Improvements" <br /> Councilmember McGehee requested removal of Consent Agenda Item 7.d entitled, <br /> "Approve Request by Meritex Enterprises, Inc. for a Preliminary Plat of the Land cur- <br /> rently addressed as 2280 Walnut Street;" for discussion purposes. <br /> Willmus moved, McGehee seconded, approval of the agenda as amended. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Johnson; Willmus; McGehee; Pust; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 3. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. No one appeared to speak at this time. <br /> 4. Council Communications, Reports, Announcements and Housing and Redevelop- <br /> ment Authority (HRA) Report <br /> Mayor Roe announced several upcoming free educational forums on the constitutional <br /> amendments proposed in MN on the November ballot. The first forum was scheduled <br /> at the Maplewood City Hall on October 9, 2012, on the voter identification question; <br /> and the second scheduled for October 23, 2012 at the Maplewood Community Center <br /> on the proposed marriage amendment. Mayor Roe advised that additional information <br /> on the forums was available by contacting the Maplewood Human Rights Commission <br /> at 651/429-2000. <br /> City Manager Malinen noted that the Roseville and Maplewood Human Rights Com- <br /> missions were co-sponsoring these educational forums. <br />
