REQUEST FOR HRA ACTION Date: 10-16-12 Staff Approval: Agenda Section Action Items Item Description: Redevelopment outline for Dale Street, and MOU with City (HF117) Background Recently the RHRA entered into a Purchase Agreement for properties located at 2325 Dale Street and 4 single family lots on Cope Avenue. The intent of the RHRA is to purchase those lots and combine it with the Roseville Fire station #3 located at 2335 Dale Street for redevelopment. The redevelopment outline was shared with the Roseville City Council at the Joint Meeting with the RHRA on October 8, 2012. This document has not formally been discussed with the RHRA. The redevelopment outline provides tasks and timelines over the next 1 ½ years and selecting a preferred developer. Staff will go over the redevelopment outline in detail at the HRA meeting and ask for further direction from the RHRA board. In addition the RHRA discussed a Memorandum of Understanding related to the redevelopment th of the Roseville Fire Station #3 at the October 8 Joint Meeting. From that meeting the Roseville City Council requested a few modifications to the document. The changes have been implemented in #1 under the City of Roseville Obligations. The City Attorney also made minor changes related to the format of the document. The revised MOU is expected to be approved at th the City Council October 15 meeting. Suggested RHRA Action The RHRA Board should review and discuss the redevelopment outline and advise staff on any other activities the board would like staff to address. This is a draft document and can be modified through the process. It is recommended that the RHRA Board approve the MOU with the City of Roseville regarding the purchase of the Dale Street Fire Station.
