EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regul ar meeting of the City Council of the City 1 of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the19 th day of November, 2 2012, at 6:00 p.m. 3 4 The following members were present: ; and and the following members were absent: . 5 6 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 7 8 RESOLUTION No. 9 10 RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING 11 PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT 12 FOR 3040 HAMLINE AVENUE UTILITIES 13 14 WHEREAS, a certain petition requesting the construction of public sanitary sewer and 15 public watermain to serve the two residential lots north of 3040 Hamline Avenue, filed 16 with the council November 19, 2012, , is hereby declared to be signed by the required 17 percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in 18 conformity to Minn. Stat. § 429.035.; and 19 20 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the C ity Council of the City of Roseville, 21 Minnesota as follows: 22 23 The petition for proposed Improvement No. 13-10 is hereby referred to the City 24 Engineer and that person is instructed to report to the council with all convenient 25 speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed 26 improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be 27 made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost 28 of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to 29 calculate individual assessments for affected parcels 30 31 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member 32 and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and 33 the following voted against the same: 34 35 WHEAREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 36
