<br />EXTRACT OF MWUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 23rd day of February, 1998, at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Mastel, Wiski, Goedeke and Wall <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9531 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR TAKE-OUT/SELF-SERVICE RESTAURANT (McDONALD'S) <br />AT 2075 SNELLING AVENUE NORTH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1005.05C of the Roseville City Code identifies take-out and <br />self-service restaurants as a conditional use in a B3 General Business district; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, McDonald's Corporation requested a conditional use permit to allow the <br />construction and operation of a new take-ouUself-service restaurant at 2075 Snelling <br />Avenue North; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br />request on Wednesday, February 11, 1998, and recommended approval of the requested <br />conditional use permit subject to conditions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation on Monday, February 23, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. The redevelopment of the site as proposed will have a minimal impact on traffic in <br />the area, as the use of the property will not be changing. <br /> <br />2. The proposed redevelopment of the property as proposed will not have an impact <br />on parks, streets and other public facilities. <br /> <br />3. The redevelopment of the property as proposed will be compatible with contiguous <br />properties. The site will be upgraded, additional landscaping will be installed, <br />lighting will be upgraded, a screening fence and berm will be installed along the <br />west property line, trash collection facilities will be attached to the building and fully <br />enclosed, and additional catch basins will be installed to improve site drainage. <br /> <br />Resolution 9531 - Page 1 of 3 <br />
