EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the twenty-seventh day of April, 1998, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Wiski, Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel, and Wall and the following members were absent: None. Councilmember Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9538 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1998 CONTRACT A Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Tuesday, April 14, 1998, at 11 :00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER AMOUNT T. A. Schifsky and Sons Central Landscaping Palda and Sons, Inc. Midwest Asphalt Corporation $1,604,240.97 $1,681,336.81 $1,845,416.09 $2,045,237.07 WHEREAS, it appears that T. A. Schifsky and Sons, Inc. of North St. Paul, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $1 ,604,240.97; and WHEREAS, the bid be adopted with the condition that Civic Center Drive be dropped from the contract if it conflicts with functions associated with Roseville's 50th Anniversary; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. Contingent on Minnesota State Aid approval, the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with T.A. Schifsky and Sons, Inc. for $1,604,240.97 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager.
