EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA HELD: April 27, 1998 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 27th day of April, 1998, at 6:30 o'clock .!.M. The following members were present: Maschka, Mastel Wall, Wiski, Goedeke, and the following were absent: None Member resolution and Maschka introduced the following moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.9544 RESOLUTION CALLING PUBLIC HEARING ON ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 1 WHEREAS, The City Council deems it necessary and expedient that the City of Roseville, Minnesota, adopt an ordinance establishing a special service district; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 428A provides that an Ordinance establishing a special service district may not be adopted until after a public hearing is held by the City Council following mailed notice and two publications thereof in the official newspaper stating the time and place of the hearing, containing a map showing the boundaries of the proposed special service district and a statement that all persons owning property in the proposed district that will be subject to a service charge will be given an opportunity to be heard at the hearing; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: 1. A public hearing will be held at the time and place set forth in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto as Exhibit A to consider the adoption of the Ordinance establishing a special serVlce district. 2. The notice of said public hearing shall be in substantially the form contained in the notice hereto attached. 933231.1
