<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 8th day of June, 1998, <br />at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, wiski, Mastel, Maschka and Wall <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9555 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE <br />OF TAX FORFEITED LAND IN THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville had adopted a housing program which includes <br />acquisition of undersized or unbuildable residential parcels for combination with adjoining <br />parcels, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parcel [ParceII.D. 13-29-23-11-0027-1] located at the northeast <br />corner of the intersection of Burke Avenue and William Street is a tax forfeited, undersized, <br />non-buildable parcel of 5,850 square feet (47x124.47), and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has received the tax forfeited parcel and the <br />County of Ramsey Tax Forfeiture Land Department offered it for sale to the City of <br />Roseville for $3,149.40. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville City Council, <br />acting within its authorization as the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for the City of <br />Roseville, does hereby approve the purchase of the tax forfeit parcel [ParceII.D. 13-29-23- <br />11-0027-1] as offered by the County of Ramsey, and hereby directs the City Manager to <br />purchase said property for residential uses from Ramsey County on behalf of the State <br />of Minnesota. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, Maschka and Wall <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />Resolution 9555 - Page 1 of 2 <br />
