Prior to submittin_g an a�plication for a�proval of a Coin�rehensive Land Use Plan map change, an a�plicant shall hold an open house with pro�erty owners in the vicinityo uf the subject property in order to �e-provide a convenient forum for engaging community members in the development process, to describe the proposal in detail, and to answer questions and solicit feedback. 214 B. In the event that such a meeting space is not available 221 the applicant shall arrange for the meeting to be held at the City Hall Campus. 222 � D 223 224 225 I 226 22% 228 229 230 231 232 233 234 235 Invitations: The applicant shall prepare a printed invitation ��,��gidentify� the date, time, place, and purpose of the open house and shall mail the invitation to the recipients in a list prepared and provided in electronic format by Community Development Department staf£ The recipients will include property owners within the public hearing notification area established in Chapter 108 of the City Code, �� °°* ��*'�° „r��°�* „r�N°�*��, members of the Planning Commission and City Council, and other community members that have registered to receive the invitations. The invitation shall identify contact information of the host of the o�en house for anyoune who has questions but is unable to attend the o�en house. The open house invitation shall include a sentence that is substantially the same as the followin�: This open house is an important source of feedback from nearb�property owners and is a required step in the process of seekin�,y a�proval for the proposed chan�e of the Comprehensive Plan land use designation. A summary of the comments and questions raised at the oben house shall be submitted to the Citv as nart of the formal annlication. 236 E. Summary: A written summary of the open house shall be submitted as a necessary 237 component of an application for Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map Amendment 238 approvaL (Ord. 1362, 3-24-2008) 239 ��8 201A.05: ADOPTION OF CITY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY CITY 240 COUNCIL: 241 Upon receiving a recommendation from the Planning Commission for the establishment or 242 amendment of a plan, the City Council shall follow procedure as set forth in Chapter 108 of this 243 Code.
