Prior to submittin_g an a�plication for a�proval of a <br />Coin�rehensive Land Use Plan map change, an a�plicant shall hold an open house with <br />pro�erty owners in the vicinityo uf the subject property in order to �e-provide a convenient <br />forum for engaging community members in the development process, to describe the <br />proposal in detail, and to answer questions and solicit feedback. <br />214 B. Timing: The open house shall be held not more than 30 days prior to the submission of � <br />215 �r�'�^°*�^r � r a Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Plan Map change a�plication <br />216 and shall be held on a weekday evening beginning between 6:00 p.m. <br />217 and 7:00 p.m. and ending by 10:00 p.m. <br />218 C. The invitation shall identify contact information of the <br />host of the o�en house for anyoune who has questions but is unable to attend the o�en house. <br />The open house invitation shall include a sentence that is substantially the same as the <br />followin�: <br />This open house is an important source of feedback from nearb�property owners and is a <br />required step in the process of seekin�,y a�proval for the proposed chan�e of the <br />Comprehensive Plan land use designation. A summary of the comments and questions <br />raised at the oben house shall be submitted to the Citv as nart of the formal annlication. <br />236 E. Summary: A written summary of the open house shall be submitted as a necessary <br />237 component of an application for Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map Amendment <br />238 approvaL (Ord. 1362, 3-24-2008) <br />239 ��8 201A.05: ADOPTION OF CITY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY CITY <br />240 COUNCIL: <br />241 Upon receiving a recommendation from the Planning Commission for the establishment or <br />242 amendment of a plan, the City Council shall follow procedure as set forth in Chapter 108 of this <br />243 Code.
