Continue to recommend policies and strategies that will preserve the rights of citizens as well as promote a positive human and civil rights climate in the city. Continue to work with the Commission to increase the participation of other residents and organizations to become more active and productive in working together to solve issues that face our society. What is your view of the role of this Commission/ Board?: To monitor the climate of human rights in the city, to partnership with other agencies that share the same goals and objectives and work with departments of city government to ensure that all services are accessible and responsive to all citizens. To advise the Mayor, City council ,and City Manager on policy and strategy as it relates to Human and civil rights. Assist in resolving issues in the community by advocating a positive outcome in the interest of justice.
