PROPOSED FUNDING
A. Special Assessments
100% of this project is proposed to be assessed to the petitioner. As described in the
petition received for the construction of this project, if the project is approved at the
Public Hearing, the Petitioner shall be required to agree to and sign a written Request
and Waiver before the City will proceed further with the Public Improvement Project.
This request and waiver is attached to this feasibility report. The purpose of this
document is to:
a) request the City to proceed with the Public Improvement Project,
b) agree to have the entire cost of the Project assessed against the Property, and
c) waive all rights to appeal the assessments,
The City Attorney has advised that if the Request and Waiver is not signed by the
Petitioner, the City should not proceed with the Public Improvement Project.
As with all projects, it is recommended that the actual cost of the public improvements
be used to calculate the final assessment amount.
Removals
Restoration
Watermain
Sanitary Sewer
Contingency (10%)
Construction Total
Engineering (15%)
Project Total
Estimated
cost
$10,473.33
$8,650.00
$15,797.50
$26,727.50
$6,164.83
$67,813.17
$10,171.98
$77,985.14
The assessment roll includes all three parcels for the purposes of this report.
