The corner properties on County Road D at Churchill Street and Chatsworth Street were <br />assessed full short side frontage for the Churchill Street and Chatsworth Street <br />reconstruction projects in 1996. As a result, staff is recommending that their assessable <br />frontage be changed to reflect ] 0% of the long side frontage. This is consistent with the <br />City's assessment policy. This <br />project will be brought back to the City Council to authorize staff to solicit bids for the <br />construction work. After receiving bids, we will review them in accordance with the budgeted <br />amounts for this project and bring an award recommendation to the City Council. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the City Council provide further direction regarding sidewalk <br />construction.
