<br />RESOLUTION NO. 9573 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS BY THE <br />CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS TO FINANCE A PROJECT ON BEHALF OF <br />CHILDREN'S HEALTH CARE UNDER THE MINNESOTA <br />STATUTES, SECTIONS 469.152 TO 469.165 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota (the <br />"City"), as follows: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br /> <br />Recitals and Findings <br /> <br />1.1. This Council has received a proposal from Fairview Children's Health Care, <br />a Minnesota nonprofit corporation doing business as Children's Hospitals and Clinics <br />("Children's"), that the City authorize the City of Minneapolis, Minnesota ("Minneapolis") to <br />issue bonds under Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.152 through 469.165 (the "Act") to finance <br />the acquisition and installation otïtems of equipment in certain facilities of Children's located at <br />2910 Centre Pointe Drive in the City (the "Roseville Project"). <br /> <br />1.2. At a public hearing held on August 1 0, 1998, all parties who appeared at the <br />hearing were given an opportunity to express their views with respect to the proposal to <br />undertake and finance the Roseville Project and interested persons were given the opportunity to <br />submit written comments to the City Manager before the time of the hearing. <br /> <br />1.3. There has been presented to this Council a form of Agreement (the <br />"Intergovernmental Agreement"), between the City and Minneapolis, which authorizes <br />Minneapolis to issue bonds under the Act to finance the Roseville Project. <br /> <br />1.4. The City is authorized, pursuant to Section 469.155, subdivision 9 of the Act, <br />to enter into the Intergovernmental Agreement to authorize Minneapolis to issue bonds under the <br />Act on behalf of the City to finance the RoseviIIe Project. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 <br /> <br />Approvals <br /> <br />2.1. The issuance of bonds by Minneapolis for the purpose of financing the <br />Roseville Project, pursuant to the Act is hereby consented to and approved. The terms of the <br />bonds shall be as are approved by the Minneapolis City Council. The form of the <br />Intergovernmental Agreement referred to in Section 1.3 is approved subject to such <br />modifications as are deemed appropriate and approved by the City Attorney and the Mayor, <br />which approval shall be conclusively evidenced by the execution of the Intergovernmental <br />
