EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regul ar meeting of the City Council of the City 1 of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota wa s duly held on the 11th day of February, 2 2013, at 6:00 p.m. 3 4 The following members were present: ; and the following were absent: . 5 6 Councilmember introduced the followi ng resolution and moved its adoption: 7 8 RESOLUTION No. 9 10 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING METROPOLITAN COUNCIL 11 ENVIRONMENTAL SERVI CES MUNICIPAL 12 INFILTRATION/INFLOW GRANT AND DESIGNATING 13 AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE PROJECT 14 15 16 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has applied for and been awarded grant funds in the 17 amount of $433,136.00 for capital improvements to the Roseville municipal waste water 18 collection system to reduce the amount of in flow and infiltration to the Metropolitan 19 Council’s sanitary sewer disposal system; and 20 21 WHEREAS, in order to receive the grant f unds the City of Roseville is required to 22 provide to the Metropolitan Council a Resolutio n which authorizes the City of Roseville 23 to enter into the Metropolitan Council Mu nicipal Publicly Owned Infrastructure 24 Inflow/Infiltration Grant Program Grant Agreem ent-Construction Grant for the Roseville- 25 Manhole Rehab, Pipe Lining and Flood Mitigation Project (“Agreement”), the 26 Certification required thereunde r, and all other documents re ferred in said Agreement; 27 28 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that th e City Council of the City of Roseville 29 hereby ratifies and approves the Agreement, au thorizes the City of Roseville to undertake 30 the I/I Municipal Grant Program and Project re ferred to in the Agreement, including the 31 financial responsibilities of the City as s hown in Article IV of the Agreement, and 32 authorizes and empowers its Mayor and City Manager to enter into and execute the 33 Agreement, Certification and all other documents referred to in the Agreement, on behalf 34 of the City, and to perform or direct the pe rformance of all other actions necessary to 35 consummate the requirements of the C ity of Roseville under the Agreement. 36 37 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Roseville Public 38 Works Director is hereby designated as the authorized representative for the Project who 39
