Page 2 of 2 <br />improvement to water quality and volume reduction, and also serve as an educational area in the 33 <br />park that can be utilized by both Roseville Parks and Recreation programs as well as Brimhall 34 <br />Elementary School. 35 <br />P OLICY O BJECTIVE 36 <br />This area is listed as a problem area in the City’s Comprehensive Surface Water Management 37 <br />Plan (CSWMP.) One of the goals from the City’s CSWMP is to provide flood protection for all 38 <br />residents and structures as well as protect the integrity of conveyance channels and storm water 39 <br />detention areas. This project is also consistent with City water quality goals. 40 <br />F INANCIAL I MPACTS 41 <br />The maximum grant amount allocated to the City is $359,100. The required local match is a 42 <br />minimum of 25% of the project costs, or $90,000. The local match will be paid for using 43 <br />Storm Sewer Infrastructure Funds and Park a nd Recreation Park Renewal Program Funds.
