All of the neighbors on Saint Albans expressed concern about property values being reduced by the proposed greenhouse,except for the Sortebergs,who are long time friends of the Lindner family, live at the end of the street and are therefore least affected. My chief concerns,stated in the letter, have not changed.A commercial business should not be imposed upon a neighborhood zoned for private homes. The Planning Commission,thankfully modified the buildings for the greenhouse; I was especially concerned about the inappropriateness of two large greenhouse buildings inbetween new condos and private homes,and I thank the Planning Commission members for recognizing and correcting this. I do think the business should use their own address on Larpenteur Ave for entrance and not the street used by home owners on Saint Albans. Both Mr.Carlson and Mr. Lindner told us at the Open House they were willing to do that. They also said employees could park on their property and not on Saint Albans Street. I do think they have ample room there, and should at least require some of their employees to park on their property. They also said they were willing to plant evergreen trees along the fence as a natural buffer as illustrated in the letter from Simone Yuong to Bryan Lloyd. They have gone back on their promises made at the Open House so what can we expect in the future. I am grateful for the thoroughness of the Planning Commission and the conditions they have set. I would like to see some of the above desires of the homeowners added to the conditions. Thank you kindly for your attention. I apologize for this late email.
