<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE
<br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE

<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
<br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 24th day of August, 1998 at 6:30
<br />p.m.
<br />
<br />The following members were present: Wiski, Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, and Wall, and the
<br />following were absent: None.
<br />
<br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION 9581
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO
<br />ADJUST THE PROPOSED TAX LEVY FOR BONDED DEBT
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City will be issuing Certificates of Indebtedness of and General Improvement
<br />Series 24 in 1999 and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, there are reserve funds sufficient to reduce the levy for General Improvement Issues
<br />Series 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19,20,21,22,22, and 23 in the amount of $2,085,181. Series
<br />10,12,14,15,16 and 17 have been called and are no longer outstanding
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota,
<br />that
<br />
<br />The Ramsey County Auditor be directed to increase the 1999 tax levy for the planned Certificates
<br />of Indebtedness for Equipment by $160,000 and General Improvement Series 24 by $100,000 and
<br />to reduce the levy by $2,085,181, which is being paid by debt service reserves or are for debt issues
<br />no longer outstanding.

<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Goedeke,
<br />and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Wi ski, Mastel, Maschka,
<br />Goedeke, and Wall, and the following voted against the same: None.
<br />
<br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
