HOUSING & REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />IN AND FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT <br />is entered into as of the _____ day of ________, 2013by and <br />between the Housing & Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />hereinafter referred to as the HRA, and the City of Roseville, a Minnesota municipal corporation, <br />hereinafter referred to as the City. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS <br />, the HRA desires to contract with the City for the services of an employee <br />of the City to act as Housing Program Manager for the HRA. <br />NOW THEREFORE <br />, the parties hereto do mutually agree as follows: <br />I.Scope of Services. The Housing Program Manager position assigned by the City to <br />the HRA shall perform necessary and requested services relating to the actions and activities of <br />the HRA as outlined below: <br />A.Administering housing programs offered by the HRA, <br />B.Implement the programs and objectives of the HRA Housing Plan and HRA Board, <br />C.Serving as liaison with the Metropolitan Council, and housing partners regarding <br />programs and services, <br />D.Organize the Living Smarter Fair, and <br />E.Other duties as directed by the Executive Director and HRA Board. <br />The HRA understands and acknowledges that the person assigned by the City as Housing <br />Program Manager will also be performing services for the City during the term of this <br />Agreement. <br />II. Term.This agreement shall be effective upon the approval of the HRA Board of <br />Directors and the City Council, whichever occurs last, and shall continue for a period of one year <br />thereafter (i.e. _January 1, 2013through _December 31, 2013). <br />III. Fee.The HRA shall pay the City a fee not to exceed of$102,905(“Contract Fee”– <br />salary and benefits) for the services set forth in Provision I above. The Contract Fee shall be <br />paid in four equal installments payable at the end of each quarter of the term of this Agreement. <br />The HRA’s use of the Housing Program Manager shall be for 40 hours per week during the term <br />of this Agreement. <br />IV. Employment Status and Control of Work.The parties acknowledge that the City is <br />acting as an independent contractor for the HRA under this contract. The City shall supply, at its <br />own expense, all personnel, materials, supplies and equipment required to provide the services <br />contemplated by this Agreement.
