EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regul ar meeting of the City Council of the City 1 <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota wa s duly held on the 25th day of February, 2 <br />2013, at 6:00 p.m. 3 <br /> 4 <br />The following members were present: ; and the following were absent: . 5 <br /> 6 <br />Councilmember introduced the followi ng resolution and moved its adoption: 7 <br /> 8 <br />RESOLUTION No. 9 <br /> 10 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ENVI RONMENTAL ASSISTANCE 11 <br />GRANT FOR THE VILLA PARK WETLAND RESTORATION PROJECT 12 <br /> 13 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has applied for a grant from the Minnesota Pollution 14 <br />Control Agency (MPCA), under its FY12-13 E nvironmental Assistance Grant Program 15 <br />for the Villa Park Wetland Restoration Project; and 16 <br /> 17 <br />WHEREAS, if MPCA funding is received, the City of Roseville is committed to 18 <br />implementing the proposed project as descri bed in the grant ap plication; and 19 <br /> 20 <br />WHEREAS, MPCA requires that the City of Ro seville enter into a grant agreement with 21 <br />MPCA that identifies the terms a nd conditions of the funding award; 22 <br /> 23 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that th e City Council of the City of Roseville 24 <br />hereby agrees to enter into and sign a gran t agreement with the MPCA to carry out the 25 <br />project specified therein and to comply with all of the terms, c onditions, and matching 26 <br />provisions of the grant agreement, and 27 <br /> 28 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Roseville Public 29 <br />Works Director is hereby aut horized and directed to sign th e grant agreement on the City 30 <br />of Roseville’s behalf. 31 <br /> 32 <br />The motion for the adoption of the forego ing resolution was duly seconded by 33 <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor 34 <br />thereof: ; and the following voted against the same: . 35 <br /> 36 <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was d eclared duly passed and adopted. 37
