<br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MmUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 28th day of September, <br />1998, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel, Wall,Wiski <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9588 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A <br />PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR THE SALE OF 2100 WILLIAM STREET AND <br />VACANT PARCEL ON BURKE AS PART OF THE HOUSING REPLACEMENT <br />PROGRAM WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE HOUSING IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM TO SOUTHWIND BUILDERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville adopted a housing replacement program within the <br />Roseville Housing Improvement Program which includes the acquisition of undersized, <br />outdated, or non-code compliant properties that could not be economically rehabilitated or <br />sold on the open market, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the program is to replace deteriorating lower value <br />housing on scattered sites throughout the City with larger, higher value housing designed <br />for families, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the goal of the program is to increase the property value of the home <br />and improve the value and aesthetics of the neighborhood properties, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City owned parcel [Parcel # 13-29-23-11-0026] located at 2100 <br />William Street is in poor to fair condition, outdated and undersized with a 1,120 square foot <br />home on a non-buildable parcel of 4,979 square feet (40'x125'), and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City owned parcel [Parcel # 13-29-23-11-0027] located at the <br />northeast corner of the intersection of Burke Avenue and William Street is an undersized, <br />non-buildable parcel of 5,850 square feet (47 x 124.47) and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Southwind Builders has agreed to purchase both parcels from the City <br />for $35,000, and <br /> <br />Resolution - Page 1 of 2 <br />
