* * EXTRACT OF MmUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 28th day of September, 1998, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel, Wall,Wiski and the following members were absent: None Council Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9588 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR THE SALE OF 2100 WILLIAM STREET AND VACANT PARCEL ON BURKE AS PART OF THE HOUSING REPLACEMENT PROGRAM WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE HOUSING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM TO SOUTHWIND BUILDERS WHEREAS, the City of Roseville adopted a housing replacement program within the Roseville Housing Improvement Program which includes the acquisition of undersized, outdated, or non-code compliant properties that could not be economically rehabilitated or sold on the open market, and WHEREAS, the purpose of the program is to replace deteriorating lower value housing on scattered sites throughout the City with larger, higher value housing designed for families, and WHEREAS, the goal of the program is to increase the property value of the home and improve the value and aesthetics of the neighborhood properties, and WHEREAS, the City owned parcel [Parcel # 13-29-23-11-0026] located at 2100 William Street is in poor to fair condition, outdated and undersized with a 1,120 square foot home on a non-buildable parcel of 4,979 square feet (40'x125'), and WHEREAS, the City owned parcel [Parcel # 13-29-23-11-0027] located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Burke Avenue and William Street is an undersized, non-buildable parcel of 5,850 square feet (47 x 124.47) and WHEREAS, Southwind Builders has agreed to purchase both parcels from the City for $35,000, and Resolution - Page 1 of 2
