2013 Program <br />Multi -family/Commercial/Industrial <br />Goals of the Program: <br />•Maintain and enhance Multi -Family and Commercial property values by identifying and <br />requiring maintenance to those properties which have fallen below minimum City Code <br />standards <br />Objectives of the program: <br />•Identify and require maintenance to those properties which have fallen below minimum <br />City Code standards <br />•Educate property owners and managers about common public nuisance violations <br />•Educate property owners of the benefits to their business by eliminating public nuisances <br />•Provide information on affordable resources for improvement assistance <br />•Educate property owner of the benefits of reinvestment in their properties <br />•Explore other options to improve voluntary compliance <br />Benefits of the program: <br />•Maintained and enhanced property values <br />•Surrounding properties are encouraged to maintain their properties as well <br />•Stronger sales by way of enhanced physical appearance of stores
