<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville. <br />County of Ramsey. Minnesota. was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive. Roseville. <br />Minnesota. on Monday. the twenty-third day of November. 1998. at 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel. Goedeke. Maschka. Wiski and Wall and the following <br />were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9602 <br /> <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE REQUEST TO VACATE A <br />PORTION OF DELLWOOD STREET (PF-2997) <br /> <br />WHEREAS. as discussed during public hearings for the 1998 Pavement Management Program. the <br />portion of Dellwood Street between County Road B-2 south to Highway 36 no longer functions as a <br />public roadway. but serves primarily as a private driveway to the Roseville High School and Grace <br />Church; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends that the roadway right-of-way be vacated and that on-going <br />maintenance responsibilities for the existing roadway be shared by the School District and Grace <br />Church; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has met with representatives of both the School District and Grace Church to discuss <br />options to transfer ownership and future maintenance responsibilities of the roadway from the City <br />to the School District and Grace Church; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED. the City Council of the City of Roseville. Minnesota, hereby <br />vacates the roadway right-of-way for that portion of Dellwood Street between County Road B-2 south <br />to Highway 36 upon approval by all affected parties of the following easements and agreements: <br /> <br />1) Both Grace Church and the School District will grant each other an access easement over their <br />portion of the vacated right-of-way; and <br /> <br />2) The City of Roseville. the School District and Grace Church will enter into an agreement to <br />reconstruct a new access on the vacated right-of-way as a public improvement <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Goedeke and upon vote being taken thereon. the following voted in favor thereof: Mastel. Goedeke. <br />Maschka, Wiski, and Wall and the following voted against the same: None. <br />
