<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, <br />Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 23rd day of November, 1998, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka, Wiski and Wall <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9603 <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING A DRAINAGE EASEMENT <br />IN CW MICHAEL THIRD ADDITION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Thomas and Mary Sue VanBerkel have requested the City to vacate a drainage <br />easement across the southwest edge of Lot 5, Block 6, CW Michael Third Addition; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council considered the request and made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. This drainage easement was included in the plat of CW Michael Third Addition <br />when it was platted in 1951. <br /> <br />2. Since storm sewer was installed in this area in 1966 and the culvert within the <br />easement was plugged, the drainage easement is no longer used or needed by the <br />City. <br /> <br />3. The proposed vacation of this drainage easement over Lot 5, Block 6, CW Michael <br />Third Addition, will not have an adverse impact on the general public health, safety <br />and welfare. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, hereby vacates the drainage easement across the southwest edge of Lot 5, Block 6, CW <br />Michael Third Addition. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Mastel <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mastel, Goedeke, <br />Maschka, Wiski and Wall <br />and the following voted against same: None <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />ResolutioD_ - Page lof2 <br />
