AttachmentA EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of 1 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 8th day of April, 2013, at 6:00 2 p.m. 3 4 The following members were present: ; and and the following were absent: . 5 6 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 7 8 RESOLUTION No. 9 10 RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS 11 FOR 2013 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROJECT 12 13 WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans 14 and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were 15 received on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law 16 and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: 17 18 Contractor Bid $772,193.09 North Valley, Inc. T. A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc $805,678.15 $818,419.71 Valley Paving $852,396.48 Northwest Asphalt $868,390.54 Harddrives $890,770.26 Omann Brothers 19 WHEREAS, it appears that North Valley, Inc., of Nowthen, Minnesota, is the lowest 20 responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $772,193.09, and 21 22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, 23 Minnesota: 24 25 1.The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a 26 contract with North Valley, Inc. for $772,193.09 in the name of the City of Roseville 27 for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof 28 heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. 29 2.The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders 30 the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the 31 next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. 32 33
