While many such facilities <br />3 <br />concentrate on market rate units, Ms. Kelsey advised that Good Sam was looking at affordable <br />4 <br />options in Roseville. <br />5 <br /> <br />6 <br />While recognizing the excitement of such a potential project in Roseville, Ms. Kelsey <br />7 <br />cautioned that discussions remained in the preliminary stages, with many items to be taken into <br />8 <br />consideration, such as forging with Minnesota Medicare provisions to cover such amenities. <br />9 <br />Ms. Kelsey advised that current consideration is for sixty (60) units, both 1 and 2 bedroom; <br />10 <br />and that Good Sam was in the process of calculating financial feasibilities at this time, <br />11 <br />including a QAP-qualified allocation plan. Ms. Kelsey noted that, in MN, priorities and how <br />12 <br />to point score for affordable housing resources was also part of that process. <br />13 <br /> <br />14 <br />Ms. Kelsey advised that a public hearing was scheduled at the MN Housing Finance Agency <br />15 <br />for the State of MN next week regarding a two-year allocation of such affordable housing <br />16 <br />resources, with that ultimate decision affecting this potential project as well. <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br />Motion: Member Elkins moved, seconded by Member Lee to reschedule the March HRA meeting <br />19 <br />from Tuesday, March 19, 2013 to Monday, March 11, 2013 to facilitate a joint meeting with the <br />20 <br />City Council; with staff directed to provide due public notice accordingly. <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br />Ayes: 6 <br />23 <br />Nays: 0 <br />24 <br /> Motion carried. <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br />11.
