Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, March 25, 2013 <br /> Page 15 <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Etten; McGehee; Laliberte; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Ordinance Summary (Super Majority) <br /> Etten moved, Willmus seconded, enactment of Ordinance Summary No. 1434 en- <br /> titled, "An Ordinance Amending Selected Text of Title 10, Zoning Ordinance of <br /> the Roseville City Code." <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Etten; McGehee; Laliberte; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 10. Presentations <br /> 11. Public Hearings <br /> 12. Business Items (Action Items) <br /> a. Appoint Citizen Representatives to Various Commissions <br /> Mayor Roe introduced this item as detailed in the RCA dated March 25, 2013, <br /> correcting appointment listings for the Parks and Recreation Commission, one <br /> partial and one full term. <br /> Willmus moved, McGehee seconded, appointment of Matthew Becker to the Eth- <br /> ics Commission for a term ending March 31, 2016. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Etten; McGehee; Laliberte; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding longer term appointments per current City Council <br /> policy and how filling vacancies and then two full terms may impact decision- <br /> making for the City Council. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte advised that she was supportive of appointing Mr. <br /> Stoner, but had also intended to move nomination of Jon Klava for the longer <br /> term based on his longevity in the community. <br /> Mayor Roe asked the makers of the motion to discuss the merits of their motion. <br /> Councilmember Etten advised that he appreciated and had been impressed with <br /> the time spent by Mr. Stoner in researching the Master Plan, and his study of the <br /> Parks and Recreation and City overall. <br /> Councilmember Willmus concurred with Councilmember Etten. <br />
