<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 22 day of March, 1998, <br />at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka, and Wall, and the <br />following were absent: Wiski. <br /> <br />Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9637 <br /> <br />Resolution Authorizing Roseville Police to enter into a Grant Agreement with the <br />State of Minnesota for costs relating to released Sex Offender Community <br />Notification Meeting <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 22, 1998, Roseville Police held a Community Notification <br />Meeting regarding release of a Level III Sex Offender into Roseville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Police Department incurred related printing expenses of <br />$494.16; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Minnesota Department of Public Safety is responsible for disbursement <br />of State funds to reimburse local government units for costs incurred in implementing <br />community notification meetings about released sex offenders; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Roseville City Council authorizes the <br />City Manager to enter into a Grant Agreement with the State of Minnesota for <br />reimbursement of $494.16 for printing expenses relating to a Community Notification <br />Meeting on December 22, 1998 regarding the release of a Level III Sex Offender. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member <br />Maschka, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka and Wall, and the following voted against the <br />same: None. <br />
