EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING 1 OF THE 2 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 3 4 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 5 6 7Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City 8of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the day of , 20 , 9at 6:00 p.m. 10 11The following members were present: 12 13 and the following were absent: . 14 15Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 16 RESOLUTION No. 17 18 RESOLUTION APPROVING STATE OF MINNESOTA JOINT POWERS 19 AGREEMENTS WITH THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ON BEHALF OF ITS CITY 20 ATTORNEY 21 22 23 24WHEREAS, the City of Roseville on behalf of its Prosecuting Attorney desires to enter 25into Joint Powers Agreements with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety, 26Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to use systems and tools available over the State’s 27criminal justice data communications network for which the City is eligible. The Joint 28Powers Agreements further provide the City with the ability to add, modify and delete 29connectivity, systems and tools over the five year life of the agreement and obligates the 30City to pay the costs for the network connection. 31 32NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Roseville, Minnesota 33as follows: 34 351. That the State of Minnesota Joint Powers Agreements by and between the State of 36Minnesota acting through its Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal 37Apprehension and the City of Roseville on behalf of its Prosecuting Attorney, are hereby 38approved. Copies of the two Joint Powers Agreements are attached to this Resolution 39and made a part of it. 40 412. That the law firm of Erickson, Bell, Beckman & Quinn, P.A., through Caroline Bell 42Beckman or her successor, is designated the Authorized Representative for the 43Prosecuting Attorney. The Authorized Representative is also authorized to sign any 44subsequent amendment or agreement that may be required by the State of Minnesota to 45maintain the City’s connection to the systems and tools offered by the State.
