EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />1 <br />OF THE <br />2 <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />3 <br />4 <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />5 <br />6 <br />7Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />8of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the day of , 20 , <br />9at 6:00 p.m. <br />10 <br />11The following members were present: <br />12 <br />13 and the following were absent: . <br />14 <br />15Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />16 <br />RESOLUTION No. <br />17 <br />18 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING STATE OF MINNESOTA JOINT POWERS <br />19 <br />AGREEMENTS WITH THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ON BEHALF OF ITS CITY <br />20 <br />ATTORNEY <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24WHEREAS, the City of Roseville on behalf of its Prosecuting Attorney desires to enter <br />25into Joint Powers Agreements with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety, <br />26Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to use systems and tools available over the State’s <br />27criminal justice data communications network for which the City is eligible. The Joint <br />28Powers Agreements further provide the City with the ability to add, modify and delete <br />29connectivity, systems and tools over the five year life of the agreement and obligates the <br />30City to pay the costs for the network connection. <br />31 <br />32NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Roseville, Minnesota <br />33as follows: <br />34 <br />351. That the State of Minnesota Joint Powers Agreements by and between the State of <br />36Minnesota acting through its Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal <br />37Apprehension and the City of Roseville on behalf of its Prosecuting Attorney, are hereby <br />38approved. Copies of the two Joint Powers Agreements are attached to this Resolution <br />39and made a part of it. <br />40 <br />412. That the law firm of Erickson, Bell, Beckman & Quinn, P.A., through Caroline Bell <br />42Beckman or her successor, is designated the Authorized Representative for the <br />43Prosecuting Attorney. The Authorized Representative is also authorized to sign any <br />44subsequent amendment or agreement that may be required by the State of Minnesota to <br />45maintain the City’s connection to the systems and tools offered by the State. <br /> <br />
