It must be nodiscussion of <br />concerns and ideas extended beyond playgrounds, particularly for <br />Tamarack Park. <br /> <br /> <br />Exercise One Issues <br />As a group focused on a park, participants were asked to identif <br />playground area or the park in general: <br /> <br />Materion Park <br /> Sidewalk on Matilda Street from Materion Park to Acorn Park <br /> Not enough light <br /> Parking <br /> Signagewhere is the park? <br /> Keep it wild <br />Pick up fallen trees (beyond the habitattoo much!) <br /> Pea gravel hard to walk on <br /> Spongy under swings (like at Acorn Park) <br /> Seating at playground <br /> More trash cans <br /> Plow all paths <br />Central Park Victoria West <br /> Not much shadecould we plant more trees (especially by benches)? <br /> Not great for toddlerscould use some smaller features (like at Dale Street <br />Legion Field) <br /> Keep the tunnel! Kids love it! <br /> Two different ground surfacessweeping makes playground filthy <br /> Consider installing a water feature/play area similar to what th <br />Ramsey Countys Tamarack Nature Center.
