Adding more to this area keeps <br />some of the noisier park activities from being too close to the <br />mounding some earth, limestone boulders, low maintenance plantin <br />attracting plants, etc.. <br />#5: Maintain a small, open grass space North of current playground: This space would be close to the <br />covered structure and be utilized by younger children to run, ki, play catch with adults, etc& <br />#6: Carter Geyen Memorial stays as is. <br />#7: Add playground structures & swings to accommodate toddlers to older kids (generally ages 2-13). <br />It's nice to have a separate structure for the youngest children <br />Other equipment should be added that would be more interesting & challenging for the older kids. Is it <br />possible to incorporate trees in the middle to add shade & inter <br />needed for the playground, add it to the south of the current playground structure. If pos <br />equipment that fits the natural theme. <br />#8: Improve drainage for a more versatile open grassy field. This area is great for <br />(soccer, kickball, baseball, kite flying, etc&). <br />#9: Remove gravel baseball infield & backstop. Replace with grass. This will allow the area to be <br />utilized for a variety of uses. It's just too small for that sp <br />a more versatile way. <br />#10: Add backstop & soccer nets: Centered on the south end of the park, add some type of high fence <br />or netting that can serve a versatile purpose of a pitched ball <br />etc& The idea is to have it available for multiple types of fam <br /> <br />
