Holt, staff indicated that because of the importance Roseville residents <br />202place on their parks and recreation system, that at some point, the consideration of a Park <br />203Board may be advantageous for Roseville. As guided by the recently updated Master Plan it <br />204is suggested that Roseville consider a Park District, which is not currently allowed by State <br />205Law. A Park Board seems like it could be a logical progression for Roseville. <br />206 <br />207The Commission thanked Wall and Simbeck for their work. More discussion will occur at <br />208the May meeting. <br />209 <br />JOSEPHINE HEIGHTS PARK DEDICATION <br />2107. <br />211Chair D. Holt introduced the item and indicated that the information was in the packet and <br />212wondered if there were any detail questions. Staff provided a brief review of the site and <br />213project. <br />Commission Recommendation: <br />214 <br />215Doneen moved, Simbeck seconded to recommend that cash be accepted in the Josephine <br />216Heights proposed development to satisfy the Park Dedication requirement.
