Option One for carts owned by City — the City shall purchase, own, <br />and ship the carts. The Contractor shall assemble, deliver, store, <br />inventory, maintain and distribute the carts. Cart distribution will be <br />for both for the initial cart rollout and ongoing cart replacements (i.e. <br />new customers, service changes, replacement of damaged carts, etc.) <br />during the term of the contract. Ongoing cart distribution shall be <br />done on a weekly basis. <br />Damaged or unusable carts must be recycled. All costs incurred in <br />recycling carts shall be the responsibility of the Contractor, at no <br />additional cost to the City. The Contractor will provide <br />documentation showing the City where the carts were recycled. <br />The Contractor will submit a collection plan to coordinate the <br />pickup of used bins, lids and wheel kits from resident's homes <br />� ith the delivery of the new carts. Buckthorn brand bins distributed <br />efore 1996 (blue, ribbed and have the recycling symbol in four <br />corners) will be considered scrap. The Contractor will reimburse the <br />City for all A -1 and Busch Systems bins (blue, smooth with <br />Roseville recycling logo on two sides), lids and wheel kits collected <br />at a rate of $1.00 for each bin (including lids and wheels). Residents <br />have the option of keeping their bin(s). <br />6. ANNUAL REPORTING AND PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES <br />24 <br />
