<br />EXTRACTOFMrnNUTESOFMEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the twenty-sixth day of April, <br />1999, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wiski, Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke and Wall; and the <br />following members were absent: none. <br /> <br />Councilmember Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9651 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1999 CONTRACT A <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and <br />specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on <br />Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at 11 :00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />Central Landscaping <br />T. A. Schifsky and Sons <br /> <br />$1,466,935.19 <br />$1,482,821.97 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Central Landscaping of Forest Lake, Minnesota is the lowest <br />responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $1,466,935.19; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid be adopted with the condition that Segment 3, Dellwood Street, is contingent <br />on the final execution of a financing agreement between the School District and Grace Church; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. Contingent on Minnesota State Aid approval, the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into a contract with Central Landscaping for $1,466,935.19 in the <br />name of the City ofRoseville for the above improvements according to the plans and <br />specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on:file in the office of the <br />City Manager. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br />
