City of Roseville <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1439 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SELECTED TEXT OF TITLE 10 ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br /> THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br /> SECTION 1. Purpose: The Roseville City Code is hereby amended to clarify those individuals <br /> and/or governmental entities that are permitted to initiate a zoning test and/or map amendment found in <br /> the "Purpose" statement of Section 1009.06 Zoning Changes of the Roseville Zoning Ordinance. <br /> SECTION 2. Section 1009.06 Zoning Changes,is hereby amended as follows: <br /> Purpose: An owner of property within Roseville, including the City Council, may wish to amend the <br /> designation on his or her property as shown on the Official Zoning Map. Amendment: An amendment <br /> to a Zoning Ordinance or map ("Official Zoning Map") may be initiated by the governing body (City <br /> Council), the planning agency(including the Community Development Department), a property owner, <br /> or by petition of affected property owners as defined in the City's Zoning Ordinance. The purpose of <br /> the zoning change review process is to consider such changes for approval where they would be <br /> consistent with the guidance and intent of the Comprehensive Plan and would not be injurious to the <br /> public health, safety, and general welfare. <br /> SECTION 5. Effective Date. This ordinance amendment to the Roseville City Code shall take <br /> effect upon passage and publication. <br /> Passed this 10th day of June, 2013 <br />
