<br /> <br /> <br />Southwest Roseville <br />Implementation Planning Session One <br />11 April 2013 <br />17 Attendees signed in <br /> <br />Meeting input <br /> <br />Following an overview of the Parks and Recreation Renewal Progra <br />Southwest Roseville, work session participants were asked to respond to questions about <br />the evolution of the park under the renewal program. Responses are included in this <br />summary. <br /> <br />At the end of the session, participants were asked to prioritize <br />work session as individuals. <br /> <br />Exercise One Issues <br /> <br />Working in small groups, participants were asked to share their thoughts about issues <br />related to the needs of or possibilities for a park in Southwest Roseville. Responses included: <br /> <br />Group One <br /> County Road B west of Clevelandstudents and walkers have no shoulder <br /> Filthy pond between Saint Stephen and Fulhamrelated to Stonecrest drainage? <br /> No place for informal recreation <br /> Connectivity to south of golf course <br /> Safety hedge if using private property for ballgames at County R <br />Stephen <br /> Confused golf course members <br /> Fairview Community Center fieldslack of access <br /> Stalled natureof County Road B ownership between city and county <br />Group Two <br /> This is a drainage pondI dont think its viable for much else [note indicates a <br />site containing a pond on the south side of Highway 36 service d <br />Group Three <br /> Focus on providing open space adjacent to high density uses such as Midland <br />Grove or Sienna Green <br /> Evergreen Park looks like a minimum security prisontherefore add more park- <br />like aspects such as benches and trees; utilize existing shelter <br />neighborhood meeting space <br /> Find small spaces for neighborhood gathering spaces and [unreada <br />in nature (reserve) such as the area undeveloped by baseball fie <br />Fairview; cooperative land uses with the school district on this <br /> <br />
