will compile a list of seniors, disabled and/or special needs residents who <br />request such service. <br />4.45 Waste <br />Any delivered recyclable material that is deemed by the processor to be <br />unable to be marketed into recycled content products. Typical “waste” in this <br />context includes pumps on plastic bottles, ceramic material in glass streams, <br />coated paper packaging, etc. <br />4.46 Zero Waste Events <br />Public events where organizers plan to minimize the amount of waste <br />generated. Then they work to recycle or compost as much as possible of the <br />waste generated. <br />5. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL COLLECTIONS <br /> 5.01. Contractor Service Requirements <br />The Contractor agrees to provide comprehensive recycling services <br />described herein and as described in the Proposal. Collection shall <br />occur weekly on the day of the week designated in Exhibit A <br />“Garbage and Recycling Collection Zones” map. Contractor may <br />submit an alternate bid for bi-weekly collection. <br />5.02. Collection Vehicle Equipment Requirements <br />All collection vehicles used in performance of the Contract shall be <br />duly licensed and inspected by the State of Minnesota and meet all <br />applicable federal, state, and local rules, regulations and standards. <br />All vehicles must be clearly identified on both sides with <br />Contractor’s name and telephone number. In addition, all Collection <br />vehicles used in performance of the Contract shall: <br />Be duly licensed and inspected by the State of Minnesota; <br />Operate within the weight allowed by Federal and Minnesota <br />Statutes and local road weight limits; <br />Be Minnesota Department of Transportation (DOT)- <br />compliant at all times; <br />Be kept clean and as free from offensive odors as possible. <br />Each Collection vehicle shall be equipped with the following: <br />1.Two-way communications device <br />2.First aid kit <br />3.An approved fire extinguisher <br />13 <br /> <br />
