<br />At the request of the City the brick pavers shall be salvaged and reinstalled. The County <br />will calculate the cost to install concrete instead of pavers and any costs above the concrete <br />cost amount will be City costs. For install concrete pavers the County will pay the amount <br />equal to the bid price for install 6” concrete walk times the total estimated quantity (733) of <br />install concrete pavers . The City will pay any costs above <br />that amount. <br />All the costs referred to in this paragraph 9 will be calculated after the application of STP funds. <br />10.The County and City shall cost-share for the pay items: Mobilization; Field Office; Traffic <br />Control; and Erosion Control Supervisor. Participation will be determined based on a ratio of <br />construction costs which will be distributed to the City and County as shown in the Engineer’s <br />Estimate Exhibit A attached <br />11.The City shall reimburse the County for engineering costs incurred on its share of project <br />design and administration, as set forth in Exhibit A, as a design engineering fee. Actual Cost shall be based on the <br />contractor’s unit prices and the quantities constructed.St. Paul’s, Maplewood’s, and North <br />Oak’s concurrence to their respective responsibilities are provided for in separate agreements -- <br />Ramsey County Agreement No. PW2013-10, PW2013-11 and PW2013-12; respectively. <br />14.All liquidated damages assessed to the contractor in connection with the work performed on the <br />project shall result in a credit shared by the Cities of St. Paul, Maplewood, North Oaks and <br />Roseville and by the County in the same proportion as their responsibility for the cost of the <br />element of the project for with the liquidated damages were assessed. <br />15.The City shall not specially assess or otherwise recover any portion of its cost for this project <br />through levy or special assessments on County -owned property. <br />16.Throughout project design and construction, the County shall prepare partial cost and payment <br />estimates for preliminary engineering fees, construction costs, and construction engineering <br />fees and, at appropriate intervals, notify the City of its share of the costs for the City’s items of <br />3 of 5 <br />PW 2013-13 <br /> <br />
