INTERV[EW <br />COMMITTEE <br />REPORT <br />PREPARED <br />JUNE 1 2, 2013 <br />YOUTH <br />COMMISSIONER <br />APPOINTMENT <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />June 19, 2013 <br />Item 6A <br />Program Planning Committee <br />HUMAN RIGHTS <br />COMMISSION <br />MEETING <br />OF <br />JurvE i 9, 20 i 3 <br />The Interview Committee, composed of Outreach Committee members Scot Becker, Jill <br />Brisbois, and Wayne Groff and Youth Commissioner Marie Siliciano met at S:OOpm on <br />June 4, 2013, in a conference room at the Roseville City. <br />Purpose of this meeting was to interview three applicants for the Youth Commissioner <br />position which will be vacant when Marie Siliciano's term ends, and to make a <br />recommendation for the full Commission's consideration. The Commission will then <br />make its recommendation to the Roseville City Council for its consideration and <br />appointment of a Youth Commissioner for a term to expire approximately one year from <br />the Council's appointment. <br />The Committee interviewed Roseville High School sophomore Kilimba Dyauli, Morgan <br />Miller, and junior Sungmoon Lim. <br />The Committee was impressed with all three applicants who interviewed. The <br />Committee, however, unanimously recommended Sungmoon Lim for the Commission's <br />consideration for appointment by the City Council to a one-year term as a Youth <br />Commissioner on the Roseville Human Rights Commission. <br />Recommended Commission Action: Recommend to the Roseville City Council the <br />appointment of Roseville High School student Sungmoon Lim as a Youth Commissioner <br />on the Human Rights Commission. <br />Attachments: Application of Sungmoon Lim <br />
