Since the ele-ations indicate that the proposal includes onl• one stor- abo-e grade, I'm vondering vhether
-ou'-e considered building a t«o-stor house vhich could accommodate a tuck-under garage (i.e., liing area abo-e the
garage) vithout encroaching into the required front -ard setback. If -ou're interested in pursuing this idea, but the
additional cost is the priman• obstacle, Cin- staff can help ou find supplimentar} funding that ma be a-ailable through
-arious housing/impro-ement programs. If, hove-er, other concerns make a tuck-under garage impractical, then the Cit
von't press the issue; that is, the Citt vould still support a-ariance request consistent vith the site plan -ou pro-ided.
Let me knov if ou vant to follov up on the possibilitj of building li-ing area abo-e the garage. I believe you are familiar with this property and the seller's son-in-law, Todd Iliff.
Having agreed to purchase this land, we are now seeking Roseville's approval of our building plans and will be requesting a
variance to decrease the set back requirements. In this regard, you previously recommended meeting with you to go over our
proposed plans. Our goal is to present our variance request before the board at the Feb. 7, 2007 meeting.
Let me know what information you need. It might be easier if I email you our preliminary plans for your review and feedback.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Sincerely,
Brad D.
