Thomas Paschke
From: Mike Darrow
Sent: Monday, September 24, 2007 9:00 AM
To: Thomas Paschke
Subject: FW: Northwestern PUD
Attachments: FW: Northwestern PUD
From: Craig Klausing [mailto:craigklausing@comcast.net]
Sent: Monday, September 24, 2007 8:27 AM
To: Bill Malinen; Mike Darrow
Subject: Northwestern PUD
The following sentence appears on page 9, lines 25 through 31. "If a development project other than a COLLEGE
phase of development or background traffic that is greater than anticipated in the traffic study dated 04/24/07 adds to
the volume of traffic to the Fairview/Lydia intersection, then the COLLEGE shall pay its pro-rata share of the
improvement costs based on new traffic added to the intersection by the construction phases contemplated by this
Agreement compared to the overall new traffic added to the intersection after the date of this agreement."
What does this mean? I'm afraid the meaning is lost to me (and I suspect to anyone who didn't actually write it). I
would like to see alternative language. Also, if my high school English teacher were reading this, I believe that he
would point out that that that date should be written out (i.e., Apri124, 2007) in formal documents.
09/24/2007
