"'� <br />� <br />Draft Variance: Attachment E <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 4`�' day of April, 2007, <br />at 5:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />Variance Board Member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />denial/adoption: <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 55 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §1004 (RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICTS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR BRUCE LINDGREN, <br />1213 BURKE AVENUE (PF07-016) <br />WHEREAS, Bruce Lindgren has requested a VARIANCE to § 1004 (Residential <br />Districts) to allow an encroachment into a required setback; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 1213 Burke Avenue, and legally <br />described as: <br />SUBJECT TO FERNWOOD AVENUE OVER THE WEST 3 FEET <br />LOT 15, BLOCK 1 KELLER'S MAYFLOWER PARK <br />PIN : 15-29-23-11-0018 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 requires a principal structure setback of 30 feet <br />from a side property line adjacent to a public right-of-way; and <br />WHEREAS, Bruce Lindgren seeks a 10-foot variance to this setback requirement; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present <br />and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City <br />Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />DENY/APPROVE a 10-foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.016 (Residential Setbacks), <br />subject to certain conditions: <br />1. The proposed addition must remain at least 20 feet from the western property <br />line adjacent to Fernwood Avenue. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
