Survey Results
Single-Family Residential Lot Split Study
Chatsworth Court (952, 960, and 978 ParkerAvenue) m`
Number of Survey Sent: 58
Number of Surveys Received: 18
Response Rate: 31%
1. Did you live at your existing home when the single-family residential lot(s) at 952, 960, and 978 Parker
Avenue was (were) subdivided?
100% Yes
No (Did not need to complete the remainder of the survey.)
2. Were you initially supportive, in opposition to, or indifferent to the subdivision of this lot?
11% Supportive 50% Opposed 39% Indifferent

■ I felt that we didn't need that many homes on approximately 2 1/2 -3 acres. I felt that 2-3 homes would have been ok.
■ Ill-informed, suspected more of a townhome comples type deal, not single-family homes on cul-de-sac.
■ Periodically homes are built or remodeled on Parker rvenue.
■ I met with the neighbor and his plans were upscale. Could only have a positive/effective outcome.
■ Because I live the other side of Shryer t1ve.
■ Too many large homes built on a small tract of land.
■ Bringing young families to the neighborhood is good. Continuing to improve the properties in Roseville will
contribute to growth and development fox our cit.
■ Potential unpacts on wildlife and runoff (stormwater and spring snow melt).
■ A very lovely wooded area was totally destroyed. Estate taxes will go up as they already have.
■ Primary reason was inadequate plan for handling drainage/run-off due to raised grade of new development.
■ The lots in this area are large, and the loss of privacy, the increased noise & increased traffic was unvelcome. Those
lots are out of proportion to the rest of the neighborhood.
■ Added traffic, trees removed, construction noise. 10 houses is too much. Housing market has changed.
3. Have you noticed any ositive neighborhood impacts since the subdivision of this lot?
22% Yes 78% No
If es, what?
■ These home/lots are so high priced, it will buoy my home value. I also expect these new homes will add a greater
property tax base than the current housing stock.
■ Two older unimproved homes on Parker at the subdivision site were removed.
■ Visibility for the neighborhood and visibility that Roseville can be a place to grow with your family.
■ Really too soon to evaluate impacts. Only one house complete. sk again in 6 monds.
Definitely not! This development does not fit the neighborhood.
Ultimately may increase value of our home - but that is not clear 5et.
4. Have you noticed any negative neighbothood impacts since the subdivision of this lot?
61 % Yes
39% No
3/22/2007 .— Draft —..
1of2
