� <br />� <br />REQUEST FOR VARIANCE BOARD ACTION <br />DATE: 4/4/2007 <br />ITEM NO: 4a <br />Department Approval: <br />TP <br />Agenda Section: <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Item Description: Bruce Lindberg seeks a VARIANCE to §1004 (Residential Districts) to <br />allow a principal structure encroachment into the required corner side- <br />yard setback from the lot line adjacent to Fernwood Avenue (PF07-015). <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION <br />1.1 Mr. Lindberg seeks a variance to § 1004 (Residential Districts) of the City Code to allow <br />the construction of an enclosed entryway at 1213 Burke Avenue; given the location of the <br />existing house, the proposed addition would encroach 10 feet into the required 30-foot <br />setback. <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br />• Application submitted and determined complete: March 5, 2007 <br />• Sixty-day review deadline: May 10, 2007 <br />• Project report recommendation: Apri14, 2007 <br />• Anticipated Variance Board action: Apri14, 2007 <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATION <br />2.1 The Planning Division recommends approval of a 10-foot VARIANCE to § 1004.016 <br />� (Residential Setbacks) of the Roseville City Code for the residential property located at <br />1213 Burke Avenue. See Section 5 of this report for further information and Section 6 of <br />this report for detailed recommendation. <br />3.0 SUGGESTED ACTION <br />3.1 ADOPT VARIANCE BOARD RESOLUTION 55 APPROVING THE REQUESTED <br />VARIANCE to § 1004.016 (Residential Setbacks) of the City Code to allow the proposed <br />residential construction; see Section 7 below for detailed action. <br />PF07-015 RVBA 040407 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
