7. Additional Required Information: A. A written narrative must accompany the application, presenting information demonstrating that the proposed subdivision will be comparable to those already existing in the immediate neighborhood. There are some platt.ed residential lots within the City that are different than the current standards. In reviewing requests for approval of lot splits in such areas, the City is particularly interested in determining that the lots to be created will be consistent with the character of the surroun.ding area. B. The proposed plat (1 copy) must be included with the application for a preliminary subdivision pl.at. ln addition, a topographic survey of the subject property, grading, drainage (with storm water calculations), utility, and landscaping plans may also be required as deemed necessary by the Comrnunity Developmelit llepartment.. .Five sets must be 24"Y 36" in size and the five sets must 1 l"x 1 T' in size. A final plat submission must provide three sets be 24"x 36" in size and seven sets must be 11"x 1T' in size. A subd.ivision plat also requires a digital copy for G1S records. 8. A minor subdivision proposal is required to provide a concept plan for the existing parcel(s) and/or a topographic survey indicating the property line change. The submittal must include three sets at 24" x 36" in size and seven sets at 11" x 17" in size. 9. The applicant must obtain a Notice of Land Use Application sign from the Community Development Department and post the sign along the street in front of the subdivision location.
