7. Additional Required Information: <br />A. A written narrative must accompany the application, presenting information <br />demonstrating that the proposed subdivision will be comparable to those already existing <br />in the immediate neighborhood. There are some platt.ed residential lots within the City <br />that are different than the current standards. In reviewing requests for approval of lot <br />splits in such areas, the City is particularly interested in determining that the lots to be <br />created will be consistent with the character of the surroun.ding area. <br />B. The proposed plat (1 copy) must be included with the application for a preliminary <br />subdivision pl.at. ln addition, a topographic survey of the subject property, grading, <br />drainage (with storm water calculations), utility, and landscaping plans may also be <br />required as deemed necessary by the Comrnunity Developmelit llepartment.. .Five sets <br />must be 24"Y 36" in size and the five sets must 1 l"x 1 T' in size. A final plat submission <br />must provide three sets be 24"x 36" in size and seven sets must be 11"x 1T' in size. A <br />subd.ivision plat also requires a digital copy for G1S records. <br />8. A minor subdivision proposal is required to provide a concept plan for the existing <br />parcel(s) and/or a topographic survey indicating the property line change. The submittal <br />must include three sets at 24" x 36" in size and seven sets at 11" x 17" in size. <br />9. The applicant must obtain a Notice of Land Use Application sign from the Community <br />Development Department and post the sign along the street in front of the subdivision <br />location. Multiple signs may be required for sites adjacent to more than one street. <br />10.
