''\
7 June 2007
Dear Mr. Fodor,
1

Your neighbors at 1043, 1049, 1038, and 1056 Sherren Street will receive a copy of the letter
below notifying them of your plans to build a porch and expand the garage into the required front
yard setback, and inviting them to participate in the public process of commenting on your
proposal. In case you haven't already spoken with these neighbors about your plans, we
encourage applicants to do so. If we receive letters, phone calls, or emails from these households
in support of your proposal, the required 10-day appeal period following the decision of the
Community Development Director will be eliminated; if the setback permit is approved, the
building inspector may then issue the necessary building permit as soon as it has been approved.
You are, of course, encouraged to attend the hearing, but it is not required.
You are cordially invited to attend and participate in the Roseville Development Review
Committee's Setback Permit Hearing on Thursday, June 14th, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. in the
Roseville City Hall Hawthorne Room — in the lower level, adjacent to the Engineering
Department.
Laszlo Fodor, 1050 Sherren Street, seeks approval of a 5-foot FRONT YARD SETBACK
PERMIT to construct a front porch and an addition onto the existing attached garage, both of
which will extend into the required front yard setback.
The Setback Permit process allows nearby property owners to comment on the proposal in
writing and/or at the meeting. Should you have any comments or questions about this particular
Setback Permit application, we would encourage you to contact me or attend the DRC's
Administrative Hearing on Thursday, June 14t6, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. in the Hawthorne Room.
Please feel free to email me at br. a(aci.roseville.mn.us or call me at 651-792-7073.
Attached for your information is a copy of the Setback Permit application and the proposed
plans. If the Setback Permit request is approved, a building permit can be issued ten (10) days
after the decision unless an appeal is filed before then.
Sincerely,
CITY OF ROSEVILLE
Bryan Lloyd
Associate City Planner
City of Roseville Community Development Department
2660 Civic Center Drive : Roseville, Minnesota 55113
651-792-ROSE : TDD 651-792-7399 : www.ci.roseville.mn.us
