--. <br />i <br />Draft Resolution Attachment H <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 11`h day of July, 2007, <br />at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: ; <br />and were absent. <br />Variance Board Member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 62 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §1016 (WETLAND <br />SETBACKS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR KRISTINE SIMONSON; <br />THE SUBJECT PROPERTY IS CURRENTLY ADDRESSED AS 2950 WEST <br />OWASSO BOULEVARD (PF07-033) <br />WHEREAS, Kristine Simonson has a purchase agreement to take ownership of <br />the property and has requested a VARIANCE to § 1016 (Wetland Setbacks) of the <br />Roseville City Code to allow an encroachment of a driveway into the required setback <br />from a wetland; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is currently addressed as 2950 West Owasso <br />Boulevard, and is legally described as: <br />LAKE OWASSO PARK LOT 34 <br />PIN: [currently unassigned] <br />WHEREAS, Section 1016.16A (Driveway Setback from Wetland) of the <br />Roseville City Code requires a driveway setback of 30 feet from a wetland; and <br />WHEREAS, Kristine Simonson seeks to improve the existing gravel driveway, <br />which lies as close as 10 feet from the current, delineated wetland boundary, a 20-foot <br />variance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present <br />and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City <br />Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />APPROVE a 20-foot VARIANCE to Section 1016.16A (Driveway Setback from <br />Wetland) of the Roseville City Code, subject to certain conditions: <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
