Install driveway as outlined below on the already existing roadway to the above mentioned property. This <br />proposal includes the 300' length drive only. Anything more or less would be adjusted accordingly. One <br />third of contract is to be paid upon city approval of site plan, one third upon completion of base installation <br />and 1/3 upon bituminous installation after home construction is complete. Earth Wizards, Inc. is to <br />construct drive in such a way as to promote drainage and run off away from existing wetland. Earth <br />Wizards, Inc. will also advise and make recommendations for homeowner to plant a vegetative flter strip if <br />needed and if required by the city to capture any possible sediment loads entering the wetland. This <br />proposal does include one row of silt fence along construction site if required by the city. Any other erosion <br />� or sediment control procedures such as the vegetative flter strip or shredded hardwood mulch installation or <br />any fabric installation in drive itself, etc. would incur additional expenses. Note that since construction could <br />� possibly take up to 2 years, homeowner will be locked into a price increaseon labor and materials of up to a <br />2%. <br />PROPOSAL; <br />INVESTMENT: <br />BASE PREPARATION <br />Contact Gopher One for utility locations. <br />• Excavate existing drive and subsoils as necessary to remove existing vegetation and to allow for a 6" — <br />8" aggregate base and a 2%z' — 3" asphalt mat. . <br />• Establish subgrades for proper drainage. � . <br />• Install aggregate base material. <br />• Level and compact. � <br />BITUMINOUS INSTALLATION <br />• Install 2.5" — 3" of hot asphaltic concrete (MNDOT 2341A).
