''� <br />� <br />WHEREAS, Kristine Simonson seeks to improve the existing gravel driveway, <br />which lies as close as 10 feet from the current, delineated wetland boundary, a 20-foot <br />variance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />APPROVE a 20-foot VARIANCE to Section 1016.16A (Driveway Setback from <br />Wetland) of the Roseville City Code, subject to certain conditions: <br />1. The improved driveway must not be less than 10 feet from the wetland <br />boundary as delineated on the survey reviewed as part of this variance <br />application; <br />2. The improved driveway must be sloped to direct rain water runoff to the north, <br />away from the nearest wetland. The pitch of this slope must be approved by <br />the City Engineer prior to the issuance of the permit; <br />3. The applicant must work with staff to determine whether any additional storm <br />water filtration and/or rate control measures must be implemented in order to <br />further minimize the impacts of the improved driveway on the nearby wetland; <br />and <br />4. The VARIANCE shall expire one (1) year after the approval date, with <br />additional extensions to be administratively allowed as deemed appropriate by <br />Community Development staff, if a building permit is not issued pursuant to <br />§ 1013.03 of the City Code. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Member Martinson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Members Boerigter, Doherty, and Martinson <br />And none voted against; <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
